The date of the joint meeting of St John's and St Andrew's congregations to vote on the name of the new congregation which will be formed when the two congregations do, eventually, unite has been announced.
There will be joint service on Sunday, 2 November 2014, at which a vote will be held to choose the new name. The short list of names is:
- Carluke: Forest Kirk
- Carluke: St Columba's
- Carluke: St Luke's
