Old railway route to Broughton

Leaving the village of Biggar, we follow the disused railway line that runs to the pretty village of Broughton 4 miles away through a relatively sheltered valley.

This is a flat, linear walk, 8 miles in total, using a well defined path and track.  However the path can get muddy in places therefore suitable footwear is preferable.
