Trekkers'
The next outing by the Trekkers' is a circular walk of approximately 7 miles on Saturday August 27, leaving from the church at 9:00 am.
Leaving the picturesque village of Dirleton we take the John Muir Way to Gullane passing the famous Muirfield Golf Course along the route. At Gullane we turn towards the sea and pass through the Gullane Bents to the shore. Walking along the shoreline and sand dunes we return to Direlton and back to our start point via the Yellowcraigs Nature Reserve.
Although this is a flat walk the terrain can be uneven in places (sand and shingle) therefore good supporting footwear is recommended.
