Anne Forrest - Carluke Rotary Citizen of the Year 2009

Anne Forrest, one of our elders, has been named Citizen of the Year 2009 by Carluke Rotary Club.The presentation took place at the Club's Christmas Dinner, held on 7 December 2009 at Carluke Golf Club.

Anne has been the organiser of the very successful Choices charity shop in Hamilton Street for many years. During its time in existence the shop and its volunteers have raised some £250,000, which has gone to supporting youth work within the community at Street Level with Universal Connections.
