LCCU presents The Messiah
The choral union would like to extend an open invitation to anyone who enjoys singing within the Lanark and surrounding areas to come and join us in preparation for this special event.
If you haven't tried the experience of choral singing before then this is your chance. All we ask is that you can commit to as many Mondays evenings as possible. It's a one off event to mark the 250th anniversary of the composer George Fredrick Handel's death in 1759.
We would appreciate if anyone interested could come along to the first rehearsal due to take place in Greyfriars' Hall on September 7th at 7.30pm prompt. Any music and information will be given out on that date.
We have had a fantastic response to this and hope to make it a real community event.
