Youth Church Report

In the past year, members of St John's Youth Church have raised a fantastic £545 through their weekly offering. The bodies who benefited from this are:

All the above received £100, with the exception of Street Level, who received £145. Well done to all our young people!

Christmas Outings

By the time you read this, this year's outing will have taken place on Saturday 2 December to the Lanark Pantomime which was a firm favourite last year. LInK1 have yet to decide on their outing, which will possible take place in January when school parties etc have all been and gone. something to look forward to after Christmas.

Staff

I am requesting once again that anyone interested in volunteering to teach in the Youth Church should come and have a word with me. At the end of June 2007, there will be 7 vacancies which we know will occur. Owing to the lengthy process of the Disclosure Scotland paperwork, we have to start the procedure as soon as possible.

The young people of St John's enjoy their Youth Church and it is our opportunity as a congregation to keep the teaching of our church going. Please give the idea serious consideration as it cannot always be left to someone else.

Christmas Greetings

The Youth Church teachers and children take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and to thank you for your support and prayers which you gives us throughout the year.

Youth Church Superintendent
