Over the summer, notwithstanding holidays and joint services, the Nominating Committee have been busy. Virtually every Sunday, at least one group has been visiting another church with a view to checking out a potential new minister. As a result, a number of applicants have been interviewed.

Prayers from St John’s members and prayer groups are requested for our nominating committee as the team continues its quest to find the new minister the Lord intends for us.

Please pray especially for protection of the committee, divine guidance, focus and discernment of God’s will. Ask for God’s favour in bringing a minister to St John’s that will lead us into the future with inspirational preaching and godly wisdom to help us grow spiritually, reach out and bring more people to salvation and life to the full in Jesus.
