Church Without Walls

Day of National Celebration, 28 May

Breaking Down Walls - Building Up People. That's the theme for this big event at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The programme for the day is an exciting mix of worship, seminars, workshops - all on a huge variety of topics. Each Church of Scotland congregation is invited to send three delegates to this and the Kirk Session of St John's will soon need to choose its participants. If you would like to represent us, please contact Graham Jackson (Session Clerk) or Mike Frew. The Day includes a Film Festival, with 60 congregations offering to make a 5-minute film about their dream church. Our own Link 1 and Link 2 teenagers' groups are currently busy preparing a script for our contribution and it should be a great occasion for them. Ten members will be able to attend the Church's own version of the Oscars!
