Our Guild started the session off on 7 October with our minister, Mr Frew, taking the dedication service and speaking of our theme for this year "Dare to Care with Compassion".

On the 14 October we had Carol Walker and her boss Scott Main who spoke on the History of Libraries and Carol brought along some children's books for us to see, also photographs of the Rankin Memorial Library which was very interesting.

On 21 October, Mhairi McCallum spoke about Maggie's Cancer Care Centres and what a caring person Mhairi is. We are so lucky to have Mhairi and people like her who go out of their way to help others less fortunate than themselves.

As you can see we have quite a varied programme and we would be very pleased to see some new faces, so please, if you are free on a Thursday night and would like to join us you would be made most welcome.
