Catherine Clacher, a member of St John's who has taken part in several Biblical Bike Rides, has recently spent a week doing voluntary work at the Nazareth Hospital. This was instead of a week's strenuous cycling! She has returned full of praise for the work of the hospital.


Following his time spent in Nazareth on study leave, Mike Frew has accepted an invitation to join the hospital Board, and is due to attend meetings there in early December.


Christine Stone in Nepal, from whom we had not heard from for some time, is well and on the move from Kathmandu to a town called Sunsari. She has been visited recently by Linda Mason, a former member of St John's, who is in Nepal for the 50th anniversary celebrations of the United Mission to Nepal.


Scott and Nok Murray at Manorom Hospital in Thailand write of continued busy-ness and staff shortages. Scott has been on call almost constantly for the last 18 months, as he is often the only surgeon at the hospital.
