Music in St John's

The aim of the use of music in worship is to lead praise and explore all musical means to enhance the atmosphere of worship. All aspects of music in worship at St John's comes under the baton of our organist, Fiona Hobson BMus, LRAM.

Fiona provides accompaniment to congregational singing, and other organ pieces at the start of the service, at the offering and at the end of the service. Musical items are considered as part of worship and serve to provide a time for quite personal meditation.
