Bible Study

The following groups meet on a weekly basis to explore God's word in Bible study, discussion and prayer.

All these groups are characterised by friendship, support and openness leading to meaningful discussion and sharing of how we learn from God's word and direct our lives accordingly.  These fellowships are suitable for all, from the new enquirer to the more mature Christian.  Biscuits, cake, tea and coffee are integral parts of the meetings and must surely aid the thought processes and the discussion!

Tuesday Bible Study Group

This group is held in the church hall and meets for tea and coffee at 11:00 am prior to the Bible Study at 11:30 am.  It is open to anyone who is interested in exploring what the Bible has to say to us about our day-to-day lives - good days/bad days.  The group is very practical - no need to have Bible Learning and it's your choice whether you want to talk or just listen.

This study will be used to discover what the Epistles of John have to say to us about what we believe about Christ, how we respond to His commandments and whether we love other Christians.

These are individual studies, so it is possible to come for one or two studies or the complete series.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study Group

The next Study will run each Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the Small Hall, starting Wednesday 6 March 2019.

An 8 week study of Old Testament Characters including Esther, Jonah Elijah and others.  Please join us to reflect and meditate on God's revelation through these amazing servants.  Study Guide £3.99.

For more information, please speak to Billy Johnston or click here.

As with other groups, you can come to any or all of these meetings.

Thursday House Group

This fellowship group will meet on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm for 6 weeks, starting 7 March 2019.

The study material is Who is the Christ? looking at 6 different aspects of Christ's character and his impact on the world.

Details of current meetings of these and any other group which may be meeting are given in Sunday Bulletins and in the weekly diary on our home page.  New people are welcome to any of these groups and no previous Bible study experience is necessary.
